I woke up today, and realized something. I am able to forgive those who hurt me, intentionally or unintentionally. There is absolutely not reason to stay mad, because what good is that actually doing? Absolutely none. “All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us,” Yes it’s a quote from Gandalf, but it’s so true if you think about it. How are you going to spend your time? I mean there is really so much said in such a short quote. You will be perceived not only how you speak, but your actions as well. I don’t want to be remembered as someone insignificant. I want to make a difference in this world, and preferably for the good. I know that everyone says that, but I really mean it. How many times in our lives have we seen something that we should do, but neglected to do it, because we were either afraid of rejection, afraid of guilt, or afraid of the outcome? I know that I can’t even count how many times that has happened to me. Lately I just feel like I should go ahead and take the step, and jump into situations, and never look back. Decision-making is crucial in our lives, yet most of us can’t even make a simple decision. I think that, no matter the outcome, we should never regret decisions, simply because we don’t need to dwell on the past. Dwelling on the past only makes us worry in the present, and if we are worrying in the present, how can we make smart decisions?
