You know it’s just like I always say, sometimes I love life, and sometimes I hate it.  Well what do I love about it?  A lot, but it seems to me like the bad tries it’s best to overshadow the good.  I have so many good people in my life.  I have so many excellent friends, family, and everything.  What makes it bad though?  Uncertainty.  Most definitely uncertainty of my future.  That is probably my biggest fear in life.  I don’t know what the future will bring, I have no clue.  Sometimes life feels predictable, but you know what?  It isn’t.  Not a bit.  Just when you think you have things worked out, just when you think everything is just fine, and have the world figured out, you get a curveball.  Life screws you.  It messes with your head.  It takes you to a place that you wish you could escape, but at the same time, you don’t.

Ever been in one of those love-hate times in your life?  You love one thing about a situation, but know it won’t last.  You may even know it’s bad for you in the long run, but it satisfies that current need.  The subject of will-power comes to mind.  You know I picked up a children’s book today, which my mother used to read to me when I was so little.  It was called “Frog and Toad,” I turned right to a page that really made me stop and think.  Frog had baked some cookies, and they had both been eating far to many.  Frog explains here what willpower is to Toad.  Here’s the transcript:

“Yes,” said Frog, reaching for a cookie, “we need willpower.”

“What is willpower?” asked Toad.

“Willpower is trying hard not to do something you really want to do,” said Frog

I know that’s so dumb to bring up, but I really cannot express what it did for me.  That doesn’t state anything that I don’t know, but it had an enormous impact on me.  It shows me just how much we can learn from such a simple statement.  We have to have willpower in our life, we have to have that drive that stops us from doing stupid things, but the problem is, sometimes there is no passion, no desire to stop. That takes us to another point, meant-to-be versus chaos.  Ever been in a situation that feels so right, but you know it isn’t going to happen (or at least you think it can’t) but you continue anyway?  I’ve been in a couple of those in my life, and they aren’t fun.  But you know sometimes you have to take a step back and look at life, and just know that whatever happens is how things were meant to be.

Begin to write and keep love letters to your future spouse (no matter how far or near such an event may be on your horizon). Read inspiring tales to as many children in need as you can! It will give them precious memories and build inner strength beyond measure. The truth is we are all dying, some at a faster pace than others based on the quality of our food, water, exercise and concepts. Sometimes we don’t feel happy with ourselves because of the small mistakes along life’s journey (which seem like blunders to us) and subconsciously we try to prevent getting the things we deserve, because we don’t feel deserving! Sometimes our parents have taught us too well to feel guilty, and others that were not taught too well go on feeling less guilty about the whatever wrongs they have committed. The greatest wrongs are doing violence to other living things, even animals and plants, beyond the needs of our physical sustenance, and without regard for the sanctity of the consciousness occupying physical matter (even ‘inanimate’) and nonphysical life. But the only real message your soul whispers to you is “You know that it’s wrong; you feel that it’s wrong; so don’t do it again, for it will destroy you body and soul if you keep doing it.” It doesn’t condemn you to eternal damnation. We are all destined for eternal life, so try creating beautiful thoughts and visualize beautiful events and situations and work towards them in your environment. For as each person does this in his or her own setting, he or she saves the world and all the beings within it.
Burn your ego daily. Don’t wait to be visited by the baptism of fire. Your extraordinary knowledge only befits you to serve your fellow humans. Even I who have read thousands of books and consider myself among the richest in the world, consider myself as NOTHING compared to the glory which awaits us when we completely surrender to the true reality of GOD that is beyond the visible and beyond space and time and thus rational thinking.
The ancient texts teach us that you are never alone in this endeavour; for the ancient beings are always with you in a manner more intimate than your very breath. Learn to grow more intimate with the forces that surround you and pervade your very being. Then you will have knowledge and wisdom above and beyond what books can offer. But that doesn’t mean that you don’t need books. You will be guided to the right books in prportion to your desire to learn the ultimate truths. If you want to learn how to overcome death, then begin with telling yourself that you will remember and record your dreams, for they exist along with inner realities in which we already exist and are awaiting our recognition. Life is indeed rich beyond measure to those who are willing to sow and reap the harvest!
