What happens to us when we die? Does reincarnation really exist? I am fascinated by Indian religion and its theories. Most Christians do not believe in the concept of reincarnation, BUT reincarnation means “being born again.” Are Christians not being “born again” when they take Christ as their savior and become baptized though? Supposedly, karma plays a role in the reincarnation concept. Karma can affect the ‘conditions’ in which one comes back in and/or what you come back as. I firmly believe in karma; you will eventually reap what you sow.
Reincarnation links the past consciousness to a future animal or supernatural being. Most Indians do not eat animals because of the possibility of reincarnation. Deja vu supposedly has links with reincarnation as well. Do you ever feel this “been here, done that” sensation? It’s possible that it could have been from something that actually happened in a past life. Reincarnation is a hard concept to confirm. Much research has been done, but there is not way to prove if someone could survive death and the travel to another life. Some people do not remember a past life, but does everyone reincarnate? So, are you ready to encounter your karma in another life? Be prepared.
Hey…Nice post…I am a total believer in the concept of Reincarnation…And Of what I know….Karma does have a role to play atleast according to Indian culture…We believe that if you have any debts to anyone in any form ..or there is any deep rooted desire that you might have, which remains unfulfilled then a reincarnation occurs. People say the soul remembers all your past births….But mostly the concept here is that, You have to go through millions of births and deaths before getting a human birth ..You have to be born as everything from an micro-orgasm.. to an ant.. to an cow..to an lion.. it is all written in our holy texts…and then finally you get a human birth .It is like a privilege. And the aim of the human birth is liberation of the soul, that is to meet God in the end. And if you screw up a bit in your birth.. then your are born again .. eider to pay for your sins… or to just go closer in your path to meet God and liberate your soul..Sorry for the language…
Personally in my opinion i believe that reincarnation is very real. I believe that our soul is only attached to the physical body and when death comes we leave that body. It’s just hard to imagine to me with all of our thoughts and emotions that we just die for good. Although there is no scientific evidence and anyone that has done past life regression hypnosis have been claimed as false and using their childhood and other forgoten memories to form a past life alias. If you take out the mysticism for a minute and think there are 2 planes to this world in which our inner self can survive in when it leaves the body…is reincarnation that hard to believe?
